India Chip Private Limited is a strategic joint venture formed by HCL Group and Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) in a 60:40 structure. Established to advance India’s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, we represent a significant milestone in the nation’s semiconductor ecosystem a cornerstone project within the Government of India’s India Semiconductor Mission(ISM), Make in India, and Digital India frameworks.

Our facility at Sector 28, YEIDA, Jewar, Uttar Pradesh will be India’s first OSAT facility with a dedicated focus on Display Driver IC (DDIC) technology the semiconductors that power every screen from mobile devices and tablets to televisions and automotive dashboards.

India Chip is one of the first and most advanced projects to be approved under this mission - reflecting both the credibility of the partnership and the strategic importance of Display Driver IC manufacturing to India's electronics supply chain.
